Sing-Along with Philip Alexander

Sing, play, grow… dance and laugh too!

Singer, songwriter, storyteller and popular children’s entertainer Philip Alexander performs original songs and stories as well as traditional tunes from around world. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Philip’s performances include a rich variety of sounds: guitar, harmonica, ukulele, dulcimer, ocarina, bamboo flute, djembe drum, xylophone and boomwhackers. You will be inspired by this unique and talented performer!  For children ages 1-10 and their favorite grown-ups.

Thank you for entertaining the children of my Extended Day Programs.  Your performance was such a treat for each of three groups of sixty to eighty children aged 5 to 11 years old.  Your activities, songs and stories were truly enjoyed. The children listened, sang, danced and enjoyed! I look forward to your coming back to our programs next year.  Thank you!

– Ellen G. Morse, Director
Extended Day Program, Swampscott Public Schools

Philip's visit to the Goodnow Library brought a delightful afternoon of music and motion. Lead by Philip's contagious enthusiasm, children and their adults sang and danced to tunes both new and familiar.  The program was well paced and thoughtfully balanced to provide all with ‘catch your breath time’ as well as energetic ‘dance, sing, and spin time’.  Great fun for all.   We look forward to Philip's return visit.
